About
I have many years of experience in teaching and private tutoring, having worked in UK public schools, two post-school colleges, and with private students of all ages from 4 to 80 years old!
I am currently a post-16 Maths teacher, specialising in GCSE Maths, and focused on Foundation tier students who need an extra bit of support to achieve that magical grade 4 which most employers demand.
I have also taught GCSE English, as well as ESOL and Skills for Life/Functional Skills English and Maths, and English and Maths for primary school and Key Stage 3 secondary school students.
I have taught academic writing, essay writing, revision skills and IT/computer skills, and assisted university applicants with their UCAS personal statements, as well as with their academic/essay writing and creative practical work for their university studies.
I am well versed in all sorts of teaching and support of students to do their best, achieve the qualifications they need, and develop into well-rounded individuals.
I am happy to tutor at your home or a mutually arranged suitable venue within Hertfordshire, UK. I can also offer online tuition for older students.
